Vangers

Vangers first launched on PC back in 1998, at the time the first Grand Theft Auto game was doing new and exciting things with the top-down perspective. Vangers was an unique game when it was released because it was rendered using voxels, which are a little bit like the cubes you find in Minecraft. Players race across an alien landscape, blasting holes in the terrain, completing missions, and investing their earnings in new weaponry and vehicular upgrades. There’s a lot of depth to explore here that’s still compelling even to this day. Give it a try – it’s an underappreciated classic!
