About
ANOVA was once a prosperous, technologically-advanced, peaceful planet. It wasn't until a meteorite fell from the sky that the world knew what destruction and chaos was. But with that destruction also came the most efficient and advanced energy source ever discovered. The O-nergy within the meteorite caused any land it touched to rise above the clouds. And with that, the Golden Age of ANOVA began.
It didn't take long for greed and the desire to control the flow of O-nergy to trigger a civil war between the islands. The whole of ANOVA's knowledge and history was forgotten, and a new society emerged; one that bore little resemblance to the organized and inclusive society formed by the cooperative and generous spirit of its people. But... that was then, and this is now. When survival of the fittest becomes reality, it's literally a do-or-die proposition - and real friendships are the only thing you can trust.
